Kristen Stewart has many talents-- actress, director, serial cheater
-- but she can now add academic author to her list. She co-wrote a paper about a type of artificial intelligence that is used in the upcoming short film that she directed. The paper's two other co-authors are Bhautik J. Jhoshi, a research engineer with Adboe, and David Shapiro, a producer from Starlight Studios.
A sample line from the paper reads, “The painting itself evokes the thoughts an individual has in the first moments of waking (fading in-between dreams and reality). This directly drove the look of the shot, leading us to map the emotions we wanted to evoke to parameters in the algorithm.”
Her short film Come Swim
is an experimental art movie about a man who is underwater. It includes aspects of KStew's own paintings in the film.
